Sometimes I just wanna..WHAM. Let's keep on eye out for the well-being of innocent creatures. If you see animal abuse, report it. What also may help is knowing that the majority of serial killers and other violent criminals began with torturing animals first. I DO want to point out that the hammer is metaphorical. Violence only begets more violence. O-o I would never ACTUALLY nail someone with a hammer. If it were an animal, I would wrestle it away or call 911. However, if it was a child with his/her life on the line and it was happening RIGHT THEN... Ehhh....well then I may actually want to use a giant hammer. Or at least my fists. But only to defend and separate. Then I call the cops and get me and the child the heck out of there.
**EDIT: Once again, I want to make clear that the hammer is metaphorical, and not an actual hammer. The hammer represents justice, the police, and the court system. It's symbolism. To me, justice is a hammer. It should come swiftly and strongly. (I don't have to point out that the hammer SAYS justice, do I?) I do not encourage the actual beating with a blunt or sharp object of any sort. And even if the hammer was real, as I may have slightly imagined it in my head as I watched police dig a buried-alive dog out of the ground that was wrapped in barbed wire and covered with gunshot wounds, there is a big difference between thought and action. If you've hit someone with a hammer, I suggest therapy. :V You should really get a hold on that anger problem. Next time just call the cops. I want to note that if I watched an animal being beaten, the ONLY person getting hurt would be me. Because I would use my body as a human shield to separate the dog from the abuser. The only thing the abuser would get from me is a shove. He can sue me if he wants. I can live with that. C:
I agree with this! If I catch anyone abusing an animal or person, I will personally make sure they will understand what that animal or person is going through. Not by abusing them back, but yelling and screaming at them after I call the police.
i like this. animal abuse is just wrong. what i hate most is stereotyping breeds. did you know that labrador retrievers, the most 'family friendly', are the most likely to attack? pitbulls are even proven to be the most affection, least-likely-to-bite. 98% of attacks are also to unsupervised kids under 2 yrs of age? it's not the animals fault. blame the humans!!!!!
The problem with Pit Bulls is that despite the fact that they are very sweet, their body is built to fight, and putting them with the wrong owner causes disastrous results. They're a sensitive breed that shouldn't be put with small, careless children. They need good discipline and an owner that knows how to handle a dog like that. They're not mean, but they're built like a beast, which is why you hear about the attacks more often---it gets ugly. On another note, Chihuahua's can be horrible. Probably the most likely to be nasty. I've only met a few nice ones. People don't know how to deal with their "Napoleon Syndrome" correctly. (short man/dog syndrome.)
true, 'pitbulls' were breed to fight but were deemed a 'failure' because of their kind nature. and i /do/ agree that you hear more attacks from pits, but that's b/c the media ignores all the other breeds that attack people. whenever a 'pitbull' attacks, the headlines read "pit attacks...". but when a 7 year old girl get killed by 2 malamutes, the report only reads "dog attacks..." (Kate-Lynn Logel, btw) ... and yes, chihuahua's do have massive little-dog-syndrome but srsly, if someone can't take care of a dog and discipline it properly, then i don't think that they should have one in the first place. that's my opinion
#%@$ PEOPLE who abuse animals! YOU HERE THAT PEOPLE WHO ABUSE ANIMALS! I will hunt you down and KILL you slowly and painfully and feed your dead corpse to the birds! I will eat you for breakfast!
Thanks. :3
Welcome! ;3
